Taking surveys is a great side hustle for anyone interested in making extra cash. You don’t need any experience, or any money to start, and you can start taking surveys almost immediately.

But what platform should you use? Which survey sites are actually legitimate? Which ones will actually pay?

Forthright Surveys is a completely legitimate survey website that I’ve been using for over 6 months. They have great survey opportunities and even opportunities for things like online focus groups.

What is Forthright Surveys?

Forthright is a survey company that is owned by the market research company Bovitz. Forthright Surveys allows people to take surveys and earn cash, gift cards, and cryptocurrency.

Forthright used to go by the name Innopoll, but they rebranded in 2017.

Is Forthright Surveys legit?

I’ve been using Forthright for more than 6 months, and I have nothing but good things to say about them. The surveys are interesting, the pay is good ($2+ for surveys), and I also had an opportunity to do a focus group through Forthright and I earned $225!

Based on my experience with Forthright, I do think they are legit.

Who can join Forthright Surveys?

Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 to sign up.
Country Requirements: N/A (I couldn’t find anything specific, but I’m in the US and was able to sign up).
Device Requirements: Most surveys will allow you to use your desktop, laptop, or phone to complete surveys.

How to Get Started With Forthright Surveys

If you’re interested in signing up for Forthright, the process is pretty straight-forward:

You go to their homepage and click the “join” link in the top right.

Then you will be brought to a page where you will enter your email.

After you enter your email you will receive a link in your email that you will use to confirm your email.

Once your email has been confirmed you can continue to fill out your profile and then you will be ready to start taking surveys.

How Does Forthright Surveys Work

Here are the basics of how Forthright works:

When there is a survey available directly from Forthright you will get an email that looks like this:

You can click the link in the email to complete the survey. After completing a survey your account will be credited immediately and you can withdraw your money after your account reaches $1.

But… There are other ways to earn money on Forthright (besides the surveys directly from Forthright). Let’s get into it:

How to Earn Money on Forthright Surveys

There are many different ways you can earn money through Forthright: surveys directly from Forthright, loyalty bonuses, focus groups, partner surveys, and Pollfish surveys.

Regular Surveys

Regular surveys are surveys that come directly from Forthright. These usually pay at least $1 (sometimes up to $5) and you will get an email when there’s one available for you.

These surveys are usually first come first serve, so if you get an email that there is a survey for you to take, try to take it right away!

Loyalty Bonus

Loyalty bonuses are one of the coolest things that Forthright has to offer! For every regular survey that you attempt, you will be given 1 loyalty credit.

After you get 3 loyalty credits you will be given $2!

**Even if you are disqualified for a regular survey you still get a loyalty credit!

Focus Groups

Focus groups are another thing that you can do through Forthright (but these opportunities are rare).

You will sometimes get an email telling you about a qualification survey that you can take to see if you’re eligible for product testing / focus groups.

I was given one of these surveys last year and I was able to test a product and give my opinion for $225!

Partner Surveys

Partner surveys are another way that you can earn money on Forthright.

Forthright will connect you with other partner surveys that you can complete (and earn money). I haven’t had much luck with these surveys, so I stopped trying to complete them.

**These partner surveys are not eligible for the loyalty credits.

Pollfish Surveys

Forthright has partnered with Pollfish to have their surveys available through Forthright.

You can complete as many of these surveys as you want (if they’re available). These surveys seem to have less issues with people getting disqualified, so I try to do these if I have time.

The payouts for the Pollfish surveys are okay, but they don’t seem to be as high as the payouts for regular surveys.

**These Pollfish surveys are also not eligible for loyalty credits.

Earning Potential

For regular surveys on Forthright, you can earn between $1-$5 per survey.

For partner surveys and Pollfish surveys, the money varies a lot, here’s a sample of some of Pollfish surveys available to me right now:

For focus groups, I earned $225 for my time, and there was an opportunity to earn even more ($375) but I was not selected for that.

You earn $2 after getting 3 loyalty credits.

So as you can see you could earn quite a bit of money through Forthright!

How to Withdraw Your Earnings on Forthright Surveys

You can withdraw your earnings at any time.

Payment Options

There are five options for withdrawing your earnings on Forthright:

PayPal: There is a $1 minimum for withdrawing through PayPal, and if you are withdrawing less than $10, a $0.25 fee will be deducted from your earnings to cover the fees.
Amazon Gift Card
Bitcoin
Tango Card: Tango Card is a gift card that you can use on the Tango Card portal to exchange for a gift card from the retailer of your choice. They have places like Walmart, Target, Regal Theaters, and more to choose from.
Habitat For Humanity

I’ve only used the PayPal option for withdrawing and I’ve always received my money within 15 minutes of requesting a payout.

Pros and Cons of Forthright Surveys

Here are some pros and cons of using Forthright:

The partner surveys aren’t that good (at all).
