While iBotta (in my opinion) is best when used for your grocery purchases, you can also earn money from shopping online using the portal on their mobile app.

A focus group is a group of people brought together by researchers or businesses to give their opinion on a product or service.

If you’re participating in a focus group, you may just be asked questions about a certain topic, or you may get to try out a product or service (for free!) and then asked about your opinion.

The people or company conducting the focus group will use the data gathered to make their products and services better. So it’s basically a win-win! You get to try out products and services (and get paid!) and companies get to make their products better! Woo!

How do focus groups work?

No two online focus groups are the same, some focus groups may be pretty simple, you will just set up a time to speak to the people conducting the focus group and then you will be asked questions and after you’re finished being interviewed you will get a payment.

If the focus group you’re participating in involves trying out a product or service, you may have to first take a qualification survey, and then you will either get the product in the mail, or you will get access to the service.

You will be given instructions about how to use the product or service (including how long you should use it, how to use it, what kind of information you need to keep track of, etc), and then you can try the product/service.

After trying out the product for a certain amount of time, you will either be interviewed by the researchers or you will take a survey about your experience and give your feedback that way.

Once all of those steps have been completed, you will get paid!

My Focus Group Experience

Last year I was contacted by Forthright Surveys with a survey opportunity:

$225?! ALL FOR TRYING A PRODUCT?! SIGN ME UPPP!

I took the eligibility test, it asked me questions about my skincare routine and makeup routine, and after that, I received an email that I was eligible for the focus group and I would be sent the in-home product.

About a week later I received the products, and I was given instructions to test the product daily for a week and record my feelings about the product. The product took just a few minutes to use each day and all I needed to do was take notes on my phone. At the end of the week, I uploaded my notes, and less than 24 hours later everything as approved and I got the payment in my Forthright account!

Spoiler: Paidviewpoint is a pretty great website for earning money!

If you want one of the easiest ways to make some extra cash, taking surveys is it! You can usually take them on your phone, tablet, or computer, and they can easily fit into your schedule!

Unfortunately finding survey sites that legitimately pay and actually pay well can be a little difficult.

Can you make money on Paidviewpoint? Is Paidviewpoint legit? Let’s get into the details:

What is PaidViewpoint?

Paidviewpoint is survey website that was founded in 2012, and is owned by Umongus, Inc (also known as AYTM [Ask Your Target Market]).

As a survey panel, they connect survey takers from around and brands to help facilitate consumer research through surveys and product testing.

Is Paidviewpoint legit?

I’ll make this simple: Yes, PaidViewpoint is a completely legitimately survey website! They do provide surveys and they do pay out in CASH.

Who Can Join PaidViewpoint

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to join.
• Country Requirement: Paidviewpoint is open to people worldwide, BUT there seems to be more survey opportunities for people who are in the US, Canada, the UK, or Australia.
• Device Requirement: You can take surveys from your phone, a tablet, or a computer! Android or iOS/Mac works just fine.

How to Get Started With PaidViewpoint

The signup process is quite simple, but you need to make sure you complete ALL the steps so you can start earning money!

1. Sign-Up: If you’re ready to get started, you can visit their sign-up page to create your account. Just click the “register” icon and you will be prompted to enter your name, email, and a password (there is no bonus code).
2. Verify Your Email: Part of creating your account is verifying your email! You should have received an email from PaidViewpoint that will have an activation link/code in it. Don’t forget to click the link to help confirm your email. If you did not receive the email check your spam folder!).
3. Confirm Your Phone Number: Another important part of the account creation process is confirming your phone number. You can either request a code be sent to you, or a call to be made where the code will be read to you. You can confirm your number with the code through your account settings on the website.
4. Get Your $1!: After confirming all of your information, you will be given a $1 bonus to start you off! You will also be eligible to take surveys.

To combat fraud, if you try to chance your payment email, your phone number, or your regular email, you might have to “burn” (aka Zero Out) your earnings to make the change!

This happened to me and I was able to contact their support team and they reversed the burn and gave me all the money in my account.

**When you signup for an account, you need to make sure all of your information is correct the first time. It’s a bit of a pain if you want to change anything later – so double-check that everything is right the first time.

How PaidViewpoint Works

Paidviewpoint works like a lot of other survey panels: you get invited to take surveys and when you complete them you get cash, and once you reach the payment minimum you can request a payout. Boom. Simple!

But Paidviewpoint has one interesting feature that makes it a bit different from other survey panels and that is the TraitScore!

TraitScore

The TraitScore is basically how Paidviewpoint determines who is trustworthy. When you take more surveys and are consistent with your answers, your TraitScore will improve. Your goal is to increase your TraitScore to 9,000 or more (the highest TraitScore you can get is 10,000).

When you get your TraitScore to 9,000 and above you will be eligible for more surveys and you will earn more money per survey!

No Qualifications

One of the other nice benefits of using this website is that there’s no qualification process for surveys! If you see that you have a survey available to take, you are eligible for it, there won’t be a time where you will be screened out or disqualified.

How to Earn Money on PaidViewpoint

There are three ways that you can earn money through Paidviewpoint: Biz Surveys, Trait Surveys, and Referrals!

We’ll go through the details of each one:

Biz Surveys

The main types of surveys available are called “biz” or “market” surveys. These are the regular surveys that come from companies and brands who want to learn more about you and what you think about certain products.

Trait Surveys

Trait surveys are surveys that come directly from Paidviewpoint, these will be questions about your demographics and your preferences. These surveys are used to see if you are eligible for certain biz/market surveys, and they also serve as a way to see if you’re consistent in your answers (which helps your TraitScore!).

What’s great about trait surveys is that you will earn money for completing them!

Referrals

If you enjoy using Paidviewpoint yourself, they have a generous referral program! For every person that you invite, you could get 20% of their Biz Survey earnings (up to $25).

Earning Potential

The earning potential on Paidviewpoint depends on your TraitScore, the type of survey you are taking, and how long the survey is.

In my personal experience, before I increased my TraitScore to 9,000+, I was getting about $.03-$.10 per Trait Survey, anywhere from $.10 – $5+ for biz surveys. After I increased my TraitScore, all of my Trait Surveys have paid $.10, and I never get a Biz Survey that pays less than $.25

I get about $.1 per minute for surveys, so if a survey is 10 minutes long, I get about $1! I think this is a great pay rate.

How to Increase Earnings

If you want to increase your earnings, there are a few ways you can do that, the first way is just taking more surveys! I seem to get at least one biz survey per day, so I always make sure to check the website daily to complete that.

The next way you can increase your earnings is by getting your TraitScore up, you can do this by being consistent with your Trait Survey answers, and taking more Biz Surveys.

The last way you can make more money is by referring people. If you’ve enjoyed using PaidViewpoint, why not share your experience (and your referral link) with your friends?

How to Withdraw Your Earnings on PaidViewpoint

Once you reach the $15 withdraw minimum, you will be able to request a payout.

The first thing you will need is a PayPal account, I’m not sure how it works with other countries, but here in the US, if you want cash, the only option is PayPal.

Next, you will need to confirm your PayPal email through the website (it doesn’t need to be the same as your sign-up email).

After everything is completed, you will be able to request a payout. You can select PayPal, Amazon, or a Walmart gift card.

For PayPal it says that it can take up to 72 hours to get your money in your account, but in my experience I get my payouts within 24 hours.

Pros and Cons

With everything there are pros and cons. Here are the pros and cons of PaidViewpoint:

✔️ Pros

• Cash, Not Points: I love that they pay you in cash, instead of using points that you have to redeem.
• Quick Surveys: The surveys have all been really fast. Trait surveys take less than 2 minutes, and the biz surveys are usually under 10 minutes.
• Can Use Any Device: You can take surveys on your phone, tablet, or computer.

❌ Cons

• Low Earning Potential For Low TraitScore: If you don’t have a high enough TraitScore you might find that you don’t get a ton of surveys, and when you do get a survey it might not pay as well.

• Turn On Notifications: In your profile settings you can set up alerts for your email and/or phone. I highly suggest you turn on one of these, that way when there’s a survey available you will be notified right away.
• Go With the Quickness: PaidViewpoint will actually pay you more money if you respond to survey requests quicker, so if you can, try to click on the survey notifications right away.
• Check the Website Daily: You will only get notifications about Biz Surveys, but there are usually Trait Surveys you can complete at least once per day, so check the website daily!

Support Quality

Before requesting my first payout, I needed to change my payment email, but I didn’t want to lose all of my earnings. I contacted the support team and they responded the same day and gave me all of my earnings.

Piphany (formerly known as Honey & Lace), is a direct-retail fashion company.

Piphany sells contemporary clothes for women in the XS – 4X (yep they have plus sizes!).

Piphany Clothes 101

Here’s how the clothes work, Piphany has 8 core “styles”, which is a specific piece of clothing that Piphany always sells (this style might come in a different pattern or color depending on the season). In addition there is also limited edition designs that are changed every so often (sometimes weekly).

The clothes from Piphany include tops, bottoms, and dresses.

How does Piphany work?

If you’re interested in Piphany here’s how it works for both customer and stylists.

For Customers

You can view the current styles available on Piphany but to actually buy a piece of clothing you need to go through one of their independent stylists.

When shopping with an independent stylist you will have the option of purchasing directly through them, or by using the app from the invitation code that the stylist will provide.

If you’re shopping directly with a stylist, you will select your clothes and then you will receive an invoice. You need to pay that invoice within 24 hours or your order will be cancelled.

For Stylists

You can sign up to be a stylist with Piphany by paying a small $199 fee.

You are not required to hold any inventory (since customers can now shop through the app), but if you do decide to purchase some clothes to keep as inventory, you can purchase them at wholesale prices.

**This is a new business model for Piphany, in the past stylists had to pay start up costs of over $2000+ and they needed to keep inventory on hand (which came as a kit – you weren’t able to choose the patterns or sizes).

Stylists earn money for each piece of clothing sold, and they can also receive money for recruiting new stylists.

Piphany Compensation Information

Stylists can earn between 20-50% on the clothes they sell directly to customers.

For stylists who are interested in recruiting, you can earn 2-7% on downline sales, and you also have the ability to earn bonuses based on how much is sold.

I was able to find a few reviews from Piphany stylists.

One that really stood out was this review from Mandy Arcitio. She says that she used to work with LulaRoe then switched to Piphany a year ago (and hasn’t looked back!).

If you’re looking for a direct sales clothing company to work with, Piphany would be a great choice.

This website lets you create a profile so you can offer videos, photos, live camming, and texting services.

FlirtBucks

FlirtBucks is an incredibly popular website where you can earn money by chatting with people.

Requirements: You must be at least 18, you need a computer with a webcam, and a high-speed internet connection to apply. You also need to be able to type 40 words per minute and be fluent in English. You can see their other requirements here.

We’ll get into each thing and share how it works and how much you can make from each method!

If you don’t know what an offer wall is, here’s how it works, you click on whatever offer wall you’d like to try, then it will display a list of offers available on that offer wall.

These offers can be many different things, it could mean getting a free trial of something, purchasing something, or even playing some sort of mobile game for a certain amount of time or until you get to a certain level.

Once you reach the requirements for the offer, you will earn coins or points!

Some examples I saw on Freeward were installing the Opera GX browser, and playing the mobile game Raid Shadow Legends.

Surveywalls

Freeward also offers you opportunities to take surveys and earn money! They’ve partnered with some third-party survey walls like:

When you first create your account, you will have immediate access to the Pollfish, BitLabs, Custom Surveys, and PrecisionSample survey walls, but the InBrain, CPX-Research, and RapidoReach survey walls have other requirements (like your account being a certain amount of days old, or getting your account to a certain level).

Each survey wall will have some surveys that you can take, they will tell you how many points you will get for completing the survey and the average time it will take to complete the survey (so you can easily see which surveys will be worth your time).

Daily and Weekly Raffles

Freeward also offers daily and weekly raffles (if you’re a betting man or woman).

Here’s how it works, for the daily raffle you can buy-in with 100 coins ($0.10) which will get you an entry into the raffle. The final prize pool depends on how many people participate. The winner will get 90% of the prize pool.

The weekly raffle works the same way as the daily raffle, but the buy-in for the weekly raffle is 500 coins ($0.45).

Also for both raffles you can have as many entries as you like, but you will need to pay via coins for each entry!

Daily Gift

On your homepage you can click the daily gift button every 24 hours and get a free reward added to your account!

I’m not sure if the amount your get varies at all, but my first day using Freeward I got a free 5 coins!

Watching Videos

Another fun way you can earn money using Freeward is by watching videos through their connection to Loot.TV and HideoutTV (if you’ve used SuperPay.me or Swagbucks then you should be familair with this method).

If you’ve never tried this method of earning money, it’s pretty easy to use, just click the video category you’re interested in watching, and a new tab will open and start playing the videos.

Now this won’t earn you a ton of money, but if you’re interested in something a bit more passive, this is a great method to have in your back pocket.

Promo Codes

I almost love this as much as I love the raffles! Sometimes Freeward will share different promo codes on their social media (like through their Discord server and on their Facebook page).

You grab this code and enter it in the promo screen, and you will get to spin the wheel for your prize!

Referral Program

If you enjoy using Freeward, you can share it with your friends and earn 10% comission on their earnings from offers and surveys!

They will also get a free 100 coins for signing up using your link! This is another great way to earn passive income!

How much you earn from Freeward depends on what you’re doing to earn money.
